Salary: $68,856 – $94,560 annually, depending on qualifications

Location:

Federal Way, Spokane or Lacey Office

This position is required to be in office daily; remote work may be considered at the discretion of the supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct tactical, strategic, and financial crime analysis to support complex criminal investigations and intelligence operations.
  • Develop and produce analytical and intelligence products that identify criminal patterns, trends, and networks to support investigative and enforcement actions.
  • Perform financial analysis in support of criminal investigations, including the identification of illicit financial activity and associated criminal enterprises.
  • Facilitate the sharing of crime and intelligence information among local, regional, state, tribal, and federal law‑enforcement and intelligence partners.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage systems for the collection, review, evaluation, storage, organization, retrieval, and dissemination of information related to designated criminal activities.
  • Ensure intelligence products and information systems comply with applicable laws, regulations, and security requirements.
Qualifications Required

Education and Experience
  • High school graduation, GED, or equivalent education.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
Must Be Willing And Able To
  • Travel overnight as necessary for off‑site work, meetings, and training.
  • Work alone and in teams.
  • Work evenings, weekends, hours other than 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and extra hours when necessary to meet work objectives and deadlines.
  • Work indoors in a gambling environment, which may involve smoke‑filled and dirty areas, diverse populations, and intoxicated persons.
  • Undergo and be able to pass an extensive background investigation, which includes a criminal records check, credit check, and fingerprinting.
  • Undergo a post‑conditional offer drug screen.
Preferred / Desired Education And Experience
  • At least four years of professional work experience in criminal justice, criminology, sociology, or a related field.
  • Experience in law enforcement, the military, or intelligence gathering.
  • Experience reviewing complex criminal cases.
  • Experience as a law‑enforcement analyst.
  • IALEIA Basic Analyst Classification or Criminal Intelligence Certified Analyst (CICA).
  • CAMS (Certified Anti‑Money Laundering Specialist).
  • Work experience in complex criminal, financial, and/or digital/cyber/internet investigations.
  • Work experience conducting complex investigations, including writing reports, interpreting, and applying complex policies, rules, and laws.
  • Current Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
  • Documented fluency in Vietnamese, Chinese, Cambodian, Korean, Japanese, Russian, or Spanish languages.
