Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Weight Management Psychologist, you will join a comprehensive and nationally-recognized weight loss program within the Center for Digestive Health, playing a critical role in supporting patients on their journey towards sustainable health. You will be based primarily in a convenient and family-friendly area in Federal Way, with collaboration across our Seattle, Edmonds, and Silverdale locations.

We specialize in addressing the psychological and emotional factors that influence eating behaviors, body image, and motivation, making a significant impact on our patients' lives and overall well‑being.

Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well‑being of our weight‑management patients.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, doctoral‑level, and compassionate Psychologist, possessing expertise in addressing emotional eating patterns, body image concerns, and behavior change support. • Assess and treat emotional eating and behavior patterns, offering evidence‑based interventions.
  • Support patients in developing positive body image and improving self‑esteem.
  • Provide behavior change support, including motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral strategies.
  • Help patients manage setbacks and relapses, developing coping mechanisms and resilience.
  • Identify and address co‑occurring eating disorders, collaborating with the clinical team for comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to the integrated care model, attending meetings and patient care activities both in‑person and virtually.
