About the RoleThe Clinical Director will lead, develop, and support a team of Licensed Clinicians and Clinical Supervisors while advancing our mission to make therapy accessible to diverse communities. This role is ideal for a strategic and people-focused leader with a strong background in supervising clinicians and experience providing and/or overseeing family and couples therapy.
The Clinical Director will foster a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment, ensuring high-quality clinical care and ongoing professional development across the team. A high level of comfort with technology is essential, and while familiarity with insurance processes is preferred, comprehensive training and support will be provided.
This leader will play a key role in strengthening team culture, enhancing clinical operations, and supporting both remote and in-office clinicians.
What You’ll DoSupervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the companies Licensed Clinicians and Clinical Supervisors
- Directly manage up to 12 fully licensed clinicians
- Meet monthly with fully licensed clinicians for clinical, employment, and supervisory support, ensuring each employee is meeting basic legal, ethical, and organizational requirements
- Complete employment evaluations and paperwork, as required
- Manage our team of up to 5 supervisors, meeting twice a month with each supervisor to provide support and training, and run a 2-hour per month Supervisor Meeting
- Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of the clinical team including supervisors, licensed clinicians, and intern and associate supervises (may include, but not limited to, attending internship days, networking with colleagues, attending conferences, reviewing applications, interviewing applicants, and/or developing a recruitment plan)
- Sign off on notes as needed, audit files, respond to crises within 24 hours, and ensure a high level of clinical care for TLC's clients
- Develop trainings and materials to support Clinicians in the onboarding process at TLC and that meets the clinical training needs of the staff
- Manage clinician time off and employment policies for TLC clinicians
- Plan, advertise, and execute quarterly staff events
- Schedule and manage weekly Staff Meetings
- Manage Scheduling & Transfer Processes
- Manage and/or work in collaboration with various support positions including our Admin Lead, HR Manager, and our highly trained Scheduler and Billing Team
- Receive and respond to feedback from staff and clients, working with the Leadership Team to implement changes in response to this feedback
- Respond to records requests, subpoena requests, and other legal inquiries
- Work with our billing team to become paneled/credentialed with all insurances Twin Lakes Counseling accepts within first 6 months of employment
- Spend at least one six-to-eight hour day on site at our beautiful Federal Way office (position can be fully in-office if desired)
- Meet with the Owner weekly and run monthly leadership team meetings
- Eligible to be credentialed by all insurances accepted by TLC
- Able to complete CAQH & Provider Source profiles within two weeks of hire
- One (1) year commitment to the practice (fully paid), to allow time for credentialing, training, and contribution to our community
