Product Manager II, Agentic Search
We’re seeking a Product Manager II to define, build, and optimize products that elevate Expedia Group’s visibility and performance in agentic search while strengthening our internal decisioning and experimentation capabilities. You will own problems end-to-end: translating strategy into product bets, defining clear requirements and success metrics, and partnering with engineering, data, ML, and marketing teams to deliver outcomes that matter.
In this role, you will:- Translate strategy into a clear, defensible product vision and roadmap, prioritized backlog, and release plans aligned to measurable outcomes and hypotheses.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to design and deliver scalable landing page capabilities and internal products that power data-driven decisions and core KPIs.
- Write detailed product requirements with crisp acceptance criteria; validate outputs against objectives, instrumentation, and edge cases.
- Own end-to-end product delivery: connect discovery to execution, clarify scope, and ensure high-quality, iterative releases in partnership with engineering, marketing, and data science for cross-team dependencies and risks.
- Use and build AI workflows to prototype ideas and explore edge cases in your own work; align solutions with architectural constraints and long-term product goals.
- Map user journeys, identify friction in discovery and booking funnels, and run focused experiments to validate hypotheses and inform iteration.
- Facilitate technical tradeoff discussions with engineering and data partners, collaborating on API and services interfaces and web architecture fundamentals.
- Communicate product decisions, rationale, and impact clearly to executive, technical, and non-technical audiences; champion product excellence, inclusive collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of digital product management experience with shipped web or data products and end-to-end ownership of a roadmap, including PRDs and experimentation plans.
- Familiarity and ability to code and work with large databases.
- Strong grasp of modern search ecosystems, including AEO/GEO, answer engines, and AI-driven discovery patterns across channels.
- Analytical rigor: ability to define KPIs, design and interpret experiments, and apply insights to funnel optimization.
- Technical fluency to translate requirements across audiences and collaborate on API/services, web architecture fundamentals, and AI/LLM-powered workflows; comfortable working with tools and workflows like Claude, code-based agents, and data pipelines.
- Structured prioritization using consistent, defensible frameworks; comfort making tradeoffs in ambiguous environments with incomplete information.
- Excellent communication and influence without authority; proven ability to build trust across engineering, data, design, and business teams.
- Business acumen: opportunity sizing, basic financial modeling, and linking product outcomes to business impact.
- Experience with search visibility measurement, attribution, or observability for digital experiences.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts as they relate to product opportunities, experimentation, measurement, and responsible data use.
- Hands‑on with analytics/BI and experimentation tools, plus familiarity using LLM‑based tools to explore ideas, prototype, or collaborate with engineers.
- Familiarity with content and metadata strategies that improve discovery across channels and answer engines.
