Job Description

UX Project Management Specialist (Digital Accessibility Trainer). Responsible for training agency teams, testers, developers, and content owners on accessibility remediation, standards, and platform usage. Lead remediation walkthroughs, build learning paths, create documentation, and support LMS usage.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver foundational and advanced training on WCAG 2.2, Section 508, and ADA accessibility standards.
  • Lead remediation walkthroughs using real accessibility defect examples and tools like Axe, WAVE.
  • Design learning paths and self‑paced training modules for testers, content editors, developers, and vendor staff.
  • Create documentation, templates, and best‑practice guides to institutionalize accessibility standards.
  • Support the use of the State’s LMS to track training, deliver content, and monitor progress.
  • Develop and scale accessibility learning paths and provide coaching to maintain compliant digital assets.
Training Focus

Focus areas include foundational and advanced training, remediation walkthroughs, learning path design, documentation, and LMS support.

Ideal Candidate

Highly experienced instructor who can simplify complex systems with deep expertise in instructional design, interpersonal engagement, change management, and emotional intelligence, preferably with a background in accessibility.

Experience Requirements
  • At least 3 years of measurable experience in training delivery for accessibility or enterprise compliance initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working with Sitecore or a similar CMS.
  • Proven track record in delivering effective training programs to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing content strategies and creating high‑quality materials.
  • Experience liaising with vendors to ensure compliance with training standards.
  • Strong project management skills, including prioritization and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in analyzing training effectiveness and making data‑driven improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, conveying complex concepts clearly.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

Advanced proficiency in Sitecore or a comparable CMS, including content creation, editing, administration, troubleshooting, and training users at all skill levels.
