What you’ll do
  • Lead Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure effective team communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with product owners to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders and adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Facilitate the removal of impediments that may hinder the team's progress, ensuring a smooth workflow throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Engage with clients to gather feedback and assess satisfaction, making adjustments to project plans based on their input and requirements.
  • Utilize project management tools to track progress, manage backlogs, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as QA and Dev Ops, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and open communication among team members.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Agile methodologies, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance team performance and project delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Agile Program Manager or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the software development industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies, including Dev Ops practices, is a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of additional Agile frameworks such as Kanban or Lean.
  • Experience in managing remote teams and working in a distributed environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role, particularly in understanding and addressing client needs.
  • Understanding of data analytics and metrics to drive project performance improvements.
