About the role

As a Dev Ops Engineer at Customsoftwaresystems, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations. Your primary focus will be on streamlining the software development lifecycle, enhancing deployment processes, and ensuring system reliability and performance. • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with software developers to create and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across various environments, ensuring high availability and reliability of applications.
• Develop and maintain configuration management solutions using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to streamline server management.
• Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to design scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to provide support for production systems and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize resource utilization and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on Dev Ops practices.
• Document processes, configurations, and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity within the team.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve Dev Ops practices within the organization.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Dev Ops role or similar position.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation tasks.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud service providers, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and system architecture.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Certifications in relevant technologies, such as AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices design patterns.

• Understanding of compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI‑DSS.
• Previous experience in a startup or fast‑paced environment is a plus.
