REMOTE – Project Manager Non-Tech 3 – PST Hours

LHH has a client located in Redmond, WA who needs a REMOTE Project Manager Non-Tech 3 on a contract opportunity!

Job Description:

Purpose of the Team:
The purpose of this team is to handle short-term planning for compute, monitor global fleet usage, and ensure adequate server capacity

• Key projects:
  This role will contribute to first footprint planning for new data centers and regions
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm:
• 40% meetings for alignment and reporting
• 30% planning and organizing
• 30% building tools to automate and streamline processes

Candidate Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 5+ overall years of experience in the field
• Degrees or certifications required: Not specified
• Disqualifiers: Lack of data analysis skills, inability to work with Excel, and lack of attention to detail
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain experience with data analysis, Excel, planning, and organizing, and familiarity with database languages like SQL or Kusto. MSFT experience nice to have.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on the accuracy of plans, timely arrival of resources, and alignment with team goals

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience:

• Minimum 5 year’s experience with data analysis
• Minimum 5 year’s experience with Excel
• Minimum 5 year’s experience with planning and organizing

Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery. Drive program/project schedules and status reports. Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented. Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information. Organize cross functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints.

Requires high level of independence and curiosity to understand and improve processes/tooling.

Title:
Project Manager Non-Tech 3

Pay Rate: $52 - $57/hour

Candidate Location Requirements:
Preferred PST, ideally in the Greater Seattle area, but not a hard requirement

Type: 6-month Contract (Expected to go full 18 months)
