We are seeking a talented and creative Entry-Level Web Designer to join our team in Washington. As an Entry-Level Web Designer you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional website designs that meet our clients needs and specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for web design and development to gain valuable experience in the field.
Responsibilities- Design and develop website layouts, graphics and user interfaces
- Collaborate with team members to understand client requirements and create mockups
- Use coding languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript to bring designs to life
- Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability
- Test websites across different browsers, platforms and devices
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web design
- Bachelor's degree in web design or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other coding languages
- Experience with responsive design principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
- A portfolio showcasing past web design projects
- Experience with content management systems such as Word Press or Drupal
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Familiarity with UX design principles
- Understanding of web analytics tools
Salary $1500 per month
Location Washington DC, United States
