Position: Methods Process Analyst II – 74048

Early Career Manufacturing Analysts are Needed Through End of Year With Potential Extension! 100% Onsite in Everett, WA

The role includes utilizing manufacturing knowledge and business acumen to partner with cross functional teams from production operations, engineering, quality, supplier management, materials management, and program management to achieve organizational business goals and objectives. The role will also include stabilizing the production environment, implementing lean methodologies, assessing and performing to rate readiness, and improving quality through root cause analysis. The candidate will be a liaison between 1st and 2nd shift operations teams - capturing and completing Industrial Engineering actions and requests and tying in with 1st shift counterparts.

Position Overview:

Our Methods Process Analyst contractor will join the team as a key integrator for the Industrial Engineering function in supporting the operations teams on 2nd shift. Daily and Weekly tasks will focus on production stability, and can include:

  • Analyzing performance to daily schedules or orders
  • Learning the production processes to ensure correct sequencing and resource alignment
  • Reducing or eliminate safety and ergonomic issues
  • Identifying quality defects trends through root cause analysis and providing recommendations to reduce or eliminate defects
  • Providing recommendations on process improvements that reduce non value-added work which would improve cost and flow.
  • Managing disruption recovery plans using resource capacity and constraint analysis and integrating with leaders of downstream work statement to communicate impacts to schedules and major milestones
  • Our teams are very busy focused on stabilizing the current production system while looking ahead at future rate changes and introduction of new models/customers into our build plans.
  • Candidates will be engaging with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and must be a self-starter and a collaborative team player.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business related curriculum such as:
    Business Administration, Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Economics
  • 1 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing and/or production environment
