Enrich the lives of older adults through community, choice, and continuing care in the Clinical Educator & QA Nurse role. The Clinical Educator & Quality Assurance Nurse plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality patient care in home health and hospice services throughout Washington State. This position focuses on staff education, competency development, and quality assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with Washington State Department of Health (DOH), Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulatory agencies.

You will provide continuing care through these responsibilities:

Clinical Education & Training:

  • Develop and deliver Washington State-compliant training programs for new and existing staff, covering OASIS-E, palliative care best practices, Hospice Item Set (HIS), infection control, and state-specific regulatory updates.
  • Provide hands-on clinical training, including end-of-life care, pain and symptom management, wound care, and advanced nursing interventions.
  • Conduct ongoing competency evaluations, skills validations, and refresher courses to ensure staff proficiency in home health and hospice care.
