JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Education:

    Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an Accredited Nursing Program;
    Education Equivalency Substitutions Are Not Permitted
  • Licenses:
    Current, Full, Active, and Unrestricted Registered Nurse License Acceptable Under Applicable DHS/DHA and Duty-Location Requirements
  • Certifications:

    Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification Required
  • Preferred

    Certifications:

    Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Emergency Nursing, or Occupational Health Credentials
  • Experience:

    Minimum of One Year of Professional Registered Nurse Experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Department, Ambulatory Clinic, or a Comparable Clinical Setting
  • Preferred Experience:

    Occupational Health, Emergency Care, Federal Healthcare, or Government Clinical Operations
  • Work Authorization:
    Must Be a U.S. Citizen, Noncitizen National, Lawful Permanent Resident, or Other Individual Legally Authorized to Work in the United States
  • Physical Requirements:

  • Perform Patient Intake, Triage, Initial Clinical Assessments, and Focused Nursing Assessments
  • Obtain and Document Subjective and Objective Findings, Vital Signs, Chief Complaints, Medical History, Allergies, Treatments, Medications, Procedures, Outcomes, and Disposition Information
  • Provide Nursing Care for Acute, Non-Life-Threatening Illnesses and Injuries
  • Assist Physicians and Other Providers with Examinations, Procedures, Treatments, and Patient Flow
  • Administer Prescribed Medications, Treatments, Injections, Immunizations, and Prophylactic Agents Through Approved Routes
  • Perform Wound Care, Splinting, EKGs, Point-of-Care Testing, Vital Sign Monitoring, and Other Authorized Nursing Procedures
  • Collect Laboratory Specimens and Ensure Proper Identification, Handling, Documentation, and Processing
  • Participate in Required Training, Competency Assessments, Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement, Risk Management, and Emergency or Mission-Support Activities
