Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care in a Med/Surg unit, caring for diverse patient conditions such as GI, Oncology, Post-Op, COPD, Pneumonia, UTI, dehydration, and wound care. Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 with support from Patient Care Associates. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and patient safety.
Qualifications & Skills- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days), and unit-specific as required - Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform bending or twisting tasks
- Strong teamwork, accountability, and communication skills
Perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, evaluate patient responses, and maintain documentation. Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are protected, and support a positive team environment focused on safety and quality.
