Admissions & Retail Team Members are responsible for creating a positive first and lasting impression for our guests by providing friendly, efficient, and accurate service. This role includes scanning tickets, selling admission, parking, and season passes, and supporting retail locations throughout the park. Team Members may be assigned to Admissions, Parking, Season Pass Processing, or Retail locations based on operational needs.
This position plays a key role in ensuring guests receive excellent service in a prompt, welcoming, and professional manner.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide maps, directions, and general park information
- Deliver friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times
- Clearly explain ticket options, season passes, discounts, and promotions
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
Admissions & Parking
- Sell and scan admission tickets, season passes, and parking passes
- Verify ticket and pass authenticity
- Assist guests with season pass processing, including confidential data entry
- Help manage parking booth flow and monitor parking lot capacity
- Direct traffic in designated areas including general parking, employee parking, bus parking, and VIP areas
Retail Operations
- Support retail locations including:
- Surfside (Waterpark Side): Stocking merchandise, maintaining displays, and selling retail items
- Candy Factory (Dry Side): Stocking and rotating product, selling candy and merchandise, and preparing items such as fudge and caramel apples (some duties may require employees to be 18+)
- Maintain organized, well-stocked, and clean retail areas
Safety & Teamwork
- Follow all safety policies and procedures in a safety-first environment
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members and leadership
- Maintain a respectful and efficient work environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas including booths, retail spaces, front gate areas, and back-of-house locations
- Perform cleaning duties as needed, including use of cleaning tools and supplies
Other Duties
- Perform additional tasks as assigned based on department and park needs
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior cashless point-of-sale or register experience a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and management
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable team members to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Work is primarily outdoors and subject to varying weather conditions
- Must be comfortable working in moderate to high noise levels
