We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $32,000 to $38,000 per year, with total first‑year earnings expected between $52,000 and $62,000, which includes incentives and an auto allowance. - Must drive own vehicle daily within the Federal Way and surrounding areas of Washington State.
- Desired experience: previous sales or retail in the beverage alcohol (wine & spirits) industry.
The Sales Consultant represents Southern Glazer's in the market as a member of our family. This role requires a passionate, innovative, and self‑motivated individual with a business‑oriented, customer‑focused mindset. Primary responsibilities include visiting customers, having consultative sales conversations, and driving sales revenue growth through face‑to‑face, trust‑building interactions.
Primary Responsibilities- Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust.
- Discover and identify customer business growth needs.
- Develop a customer business growth plan for each account and build a pipeline of selling opportunities to drive incremental sales above base business.
- Analyze data and insights to increase sales, grow customer business, and better achieve objectives.
- Regularly pre‑plan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities documented in CRM.
- Prioritize sales activities to achieve objectives based on each customer business growth plan.
- Visit accounts regularly, capture visit notes, and build visit plans considering previous visit outcomes; document all in CRM.
- Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and correctly present and position them in each account.
- Propose selling solutions to each customer and secure the sale using consultative selling skills.
- Achieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management.
- Manage customer issue resolution, seek additional opportunities to support customer needs, and provide customers with useful information and guidance to support business growth.
- Adapt the selling approach based on each customer's buying styles and individual business needs.
- Stay current on competitors’ offerings and how SGWS products are positioned relative to the competition.
- Document and maintain account‑specific information in CRM.
- Participate in sales meetings, on‑site training, and supplier events as required.

- Proficiency in using mobile devices (e.g., iPad®, smartphone) and online communication techniques (email, posting, texting) in a professional manner.
