Job Description & How to Apply Below

Location: Snohomish & King County, WA (local presence required)

Who We Are

Evergreen State Heat & AC has been serving East King & Snohomish County since 1968 as a full-service, union HVAC and electrical contractor. We're moving from "old school" spreadsheets to a modern Hub Spot-driven sales system, backed by 18,000+ past customers, inbound marketing, and tech-generated leads.

Our core values:
Clear Communication
  • Say it early. No surprises.
Relentless Consistency
  • Do the work daily.
Confident Ownership
  • You own your number.
The Role:

Revenue Producer, Not Order Taker

This is not a traditional HVAC sales position.

You run qualified in-home appointments, close high-ticket residential HVAC, service, and repair opportunities, and convert customers into long-term relationships through maintenance and No Surprises agreements.

HVAC is the entry point. The goal is to own the home.

You are building a residential client portfolio that generates recurring revenue, repeat business, referrals, and long-term income.

What You'll Do
  • Run 3–4 in-home appointments per day (company-set, reactivation, and self-generated)
  • Diagnose comfort, risk, and investment opportunities
  • Present Good / Better / Best solutions
  • Attach maintenance and No Surprises agreements on 80%+ of closed deals
  • Work every lead in Hub Spot with same-day notes, quotes, and next steps
  • Execute a structured follow-up process on every unsold estimate
  • Coordinate with install and service teams to deliver "no surprises" experiences
  • Build long-term customer relationships that generate future service, repair, replacement, and referral opportunities
Scoreboard:
What Winning Looks Like

We define roles by observable behaviors and measurable results. You're ranked every week.

Activity KPIs
  • 150+ outbound touches (calls, texts, follow-ups) per day
Performance KPIs
  • 30–50% close rate
  • 80%+ maintenance attach rate
  • 80%+ No Surprises attach rate
  • Residential revenue target: $525K+ annually
  • Top performers significantly exceed revenue goals
  • 100% of leads documented in Hub Spot with a next step scheduled
  • Zero mystery or undocumented deals

Your pipeline grows. Your maintenance base grows. Your referrals grow. Your income grows.

Compensation & Upside
  • $60,000–$80,000 annually (W-2, WA compliant)
Residential Commissions (on collected revenue) Maintenance Agreements
  • 10% Year 1
  • 5% residual while active and employed
  • 5%
Installations / Replacements
  • 3%
Residual Income
  • Paid on active maintenance agreements while employed and in good standing
  • Vesting and long-tenure continuation available
Earnings Potential
  • Year 1: $120,000 – $250,000+
  • Year 2: $200,000 – $400,000+
Support & Tools
  • Reactivation setter to help fill your calendar
  • 18,000+ past customers plus ongoing marketing leads
  • Hub Spot CRM (single source of truth)
  • Company vehicle and gas card
  • Company phone and computer
  • Union shop environment
  • Cross-sell commissions with sister companies
Who This Is For
  • You want a scoreboard, not a babysitter
  • You like being judged by numbers you control
  • You can handle high activity, relentless follow-up, and zero discounting
  • You understand that consistent activity creates predictable results
  • You want to build recurring income instead of starting over every year
  • You resonate with Clear Communication, Relentless Consistency, and Confident Ownership
This Will Not Be a Fit If
  • You rely on inbound leads alone
  • You avoid follow-up
  • You need constant direction or accountability
  • You prefer transactional sales over relationship building
  • You blame pricing, leads, or operations for performance
Final Thought

Most sales roles reset every year. This one doesn't.

You build relationships. You build recurring revenue. You build a maintenance base.

You build a book of business that compounds over time.
