Brake & Alignment Technician
An employee who handles installation and service of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
Primary Responsibilities- Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drivetrain, and power steering parts and components.
- Testing and installing batteries.
- Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies; rebalancing wheels.
- Replacing, rebuilding, and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
- Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
- Assisting other employees.
- Test driving vehicles.
- Operating service vehicles to perform off‑site and emergency road services.
- Providing excellent customer service and referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid‑pace environment.
- Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.
$16.50 – $28.00. For full‑time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include: quarterly bonus, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, company‑funded retirement plan, paid time off, short‑ and long‑term disability, employee discount, tuition assistance. Benefits are subject to change at any time and are governed by plan documents and company policy. Higher minimum wage applies in applicable locations.
