Your ImpactPearce is seeking experienced Travel Commercial HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC package units on Renewable Energy Sites located throughout the United States. This is a fast‑paced and rewarding role that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self‑directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the renewables industry.
Candidates must reside on the East Coast and will travel up to 100% of the time.
- Maintaining commercial cooling package units on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire HVAC units.
- Conducting performance checks and regular HVAC maintenance.
- Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
- Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.
- Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
- Operating and maintaining a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 2+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
- Candidates should reside on the East Coast.
- Travel for work (up to 100%) is required, especially during busy summer months.
- Must be available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Exposure to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
- Compliance with FCC, FAA, EPA, OSHA Regulations.
Compensation: $35.00‑$45.00 hourly/DOE and Per Diem. At Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices. This position is non‑exempt, and the base pay range is based on experience, skills, certifications, and location. Employees in this role are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. In addition to hourly wages, employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.
