ELM Utility Services offers a Utility Locate Technician position in Federal Way, Washington. They use the advanced LaunchPoint software system for efficient service. Starting wages range from $25.50 to $32.00 depending on experience.

• Work independently outdoors with the company‑provided vehicle as your mobile office, completing a route of locate requests each day.
• Accurately, safely, and efficiently locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and sometimes whiskers.
• Use your mobile work system to receive daily tasks.

• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug, motor vehicle record, and background check. This is a Safety‑Sensitive DOT position that must comply with all Federal Department of Transportation regulations. Marijuana (medical or recreational) is prohibited.
• High School Diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must possess a valid passport or an enhanced driver’s license to facilitate occasional travel across the Canadian border for work‑related assignments.
