A reputable radio station in Washington is seeking an experienced Radio Technician to join our team As a Radio Technician you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all radio equipment and ensuring smooth transmission of audio signals This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for technology and audio equipment to join our dynamic team
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair radio equipment including transmitters receivers antennas and other technical components
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on all radio equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Coordinate with other staff members to schedule repairs and maintenance during offair hours
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on the equipment
- Stay up to date with advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the engineering department
- High school diploma or equivalent technical degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of radio equipment including transmitters receivers antennas and other technical components
- Familiarity with FCC regulations and compliance standards for broadcasting equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and perform repairs in a timely manner
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with other staff members
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position
