Maritime Shuttle Driver-Part time

Overview

We are looking for drivers. Our office is in Edgewood. Do you live in Edgewood or outlying areas, looking for a job with flexibility, like to drive, and meet new people then this might be the job for you. The owner is kind and treats his employees like you are family, making this a great place to work. This would be a great job to supplement another income or extra hours for an existing job.

• Drive a variety of vehicles including Ford Connect Vans, Buick, Suburban, Econoline Van (10 passenger), and Ford 350 XLT (11 & 14 passenger).
• Schedule driving assignments within a 24-hour range; trips last from 2 to 12 hours.
• Transport mariners and crew, including picking up Marine Pilots, Tug crew members, Ship Crew members, Ship parts and supplies, and bunker samples.
• Transport crews to/from their homes, airports, medical appointments, and port-to-port movements.

• Compensation: $20 per hour to start.
• Must apply for a TWIC card (owner will pay) and obtain a DOT Physical (we schedule).
• Clean driving record and provide a drivers abstract before employment.
• Valid TWIC card required for all ports; some vans are DOT-regulated and require a current physical on file.
• Experience trailer driving is a plus.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour. Once all requirements are completed and a 90-day review is reached, sick pay and extra cash for health benefits may be provided. We do not provide health, dental or vision plans currently.
