About the Team

Dash Mart is a local‑fulfillment center owned and operated by Door Dash, offering customers household essentials and other items to their doorsteps with speed, reliability, and quality.

In this role, you will manage a 5‑15k sq ft distribution center, the local warehouse operating team, and be responsible for ensuring we maintain high quality for our customers.

Lead: Recruit, lead, coach & retain a high‑performing team of Shift Leads (3+) and Operations Associates (6+). Set your team up for success to work safely and productively. As a leader, you will build a strong, positive culture and be accountable for driving strong employee satisfaction scores. You will partner with your Shift Leads to effectively delegate daily tasks and ensure high performance from your team.

Own: Own the day‑to‑day operations of one of our Dash Mart warehouses. In some locations, this includes preparing food in a light‑prep kitchen, ensuring the site processes run smoothly, efficiently and safely. You will own scheduling and be responsible for managing a labor budget, and for ensuring your warehouse meets site‑level metric goals.

Delight customers: Lead your team in providing our customers with the best possible experience on each and every order. You will be responsible for maintaining key quality metrics including order accuracy and fulfillment speed. Work cross‑functionally with central teams, including inventory and training, to give your team the tools and resources to achieve this goal.

Strategize: Use data to identify pain‑points or areas of inefficiency within our warehouse and current processes. Design, build and execute process improvement projects to improve our warehouse operations, quality metrics, and the employee experience.

• 3+ years’ of team leadership experience in high volume operations (retail, grocery, hospitality, fulfilment, logistics or operations) with a track record of developing people and delivering results.
• Proven leadership of high‑performance teams of 10+ employees.
• Ownership mindset: do what it takes to support a 24/7 business across multiple shifts.
• Ability to solve problems from first principles and innovate beyond the status quo.
• Comfort with ambiguity and thriving in rapid change and learning in startup environments.
• Data‑first problem solver with experience using Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas and pivot tables.
• College degree or relevant professional work experience.
• Flexibility in schedule, including some late‑night and weekend availability.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

Base Pay: $64,800 – $95,300 USD

For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year. For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (approx. 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; approx. 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
