Bank Assistant Chef Sanctuary Supported Living

• Assisting with the planning and creation of nutritionally balanced meals for our employees
• Promoting and monitoring food hygiene and safety standards
• Carrying out risk assessments and cleaning the kitchen to a high standard
• Assisting with the supervision and development of staff
• Maintain kitchen stock, equipment, and resources within budget
• Follow procedures in relation to cash handling and till operations ensuring compliance with the Group’sิล policy

• Previous experience of working in a catering environment
• A valid food hygiene certificate is essential
• NVQ2 in Hospitality & Catering
• Proven knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Excellent cooking skills with an understanding of produce and ingredients and use of catering machinery
• Good interpersonal and customer care skills
• Some knowledge of dietary requirements and the impact of food types on medication
