Our Aviation team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.

• Assisting with excavation works, including digging trenches and preparing ground for construction activities
• Supporting the installation of ducts, cable routes and foundations for substations and associated infrastructure
• Laying concrete, back filling trenches and reinstating ground surfaces to required standards
• Operating hand tools and small plant equipment under supervision
• Setting out work areas, marking levels and ensuring accurate measurements
• Supporting civil construction tasks such as shuttering, formwork and basic brickwork
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment in line with safety procedures
• Working alongside experienced ground workers, civil teams and electrical colleagues to learn all aspects of substation construction
• Following instructions, safety briefings and method statements to ensure safe working practices

• Full driving licence and own car required
• GCSEs in Maths and English (grades A–F or 2–9)
• Must be 18+ years of age
• Must live within the application area
• Must be able to obtain a full airside pass
• Drug and alcohol testing may be required as part of induction
• Background checks will be conducted as part of the hiring process
