HGV SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Salary: OTE £58,375

Heathrow

Hours:

Monday to Friday 40hrs per week + 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
 
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Service Technician to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop.
This role will focus primarily on carrying out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on a range of HGVs, helping to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and kept safely on the road.

The Role:

· Carry out routine servicing and scheduled maintenance on HGVs

· Complete vehicle safety checks and inspections

· Carry out basic maintenance and identify any defects

· Report any additional repair work required

· Complete job cards and service documentation accurately

· Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime

· Ensure all work is completed in line with company and manufacturer standards

What We're Looking For:

· Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles for 5 years +

· Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent preferred

· Experience carrying out servicing and routine maintenance

· A good understanding of vehicle safety and inspection standards

· Full UK Driving Licence

· A reliable and organised approach to work
