Accounting Coordinator Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable
Assisti Care LLC is looking for an organized, dependable, and motivated Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and wants to be a meaningful part of a growing organization.
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, assisting with reporting, and working directly with employees, clients, vendors, and management. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys solving problems, and understands the importance of accuracy, communication, and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Responsibilities- Establish and maintain customer accounts
- Prepare and issue customer invoices
- Receive, record, and apply customer payments
- Complete bank deposits, including in-person and mobile deposits
- Monitor account activity and assist with resolving billing questions
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Establish and maintain vendor accounts
- Review, enter, and process vendor invoices
- Prepare payments and maintain payment records
- Reconcile credit card statements
- Collect and maintain vendor documentation, including W-9 forms and certificates of insurance
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account questions
- Prepare financial and management reports as requested
- Assist with account reconciliations and identifying discrepancies
- Research and resolve financial or account-related issues
- Maintain organized files, records, and documentation in accordance with company policies
- Assist with special projects and process improvements
- Provide assistance with general office support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, filing, mailing, and other administrative duties
- Help maintain a professional, positive, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Two or more years of accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Quick Books required
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with App Folio or similar accounting/property management software is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
