AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

- Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, a proud part of Michigan’s largest and most respected automotive dealer group, is looking for a Certified Automotive Technician to join our growing CDJR service team.
Performs vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

- Work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are required.
- Chrysler Level 1–3 Certification preferred (or willing to complete)
- ASE Certifications or State Equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of professional technician experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented, reliable, and customer-focused
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Michigan Mechanic Certification
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles
- Complete routine maintenance: oil changes, brake work, tire rotations, alignments, etc.
- Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend services
- Utilize OEM diagnostic tools (wiTECH) and follow Chrysler repair procedures
- Accurately document work and communicate with Service Advisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area
- The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, and talk or hear.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift weights up to 100 pounds.
