Our client is looking for a talented Landscape Designer who can take an idea, a property, and a client’s vision and turn them into outdoor spaces people are excited to come home to.
We are an established, growing landscape company serving residential and commercial clients throughout the area, and we are looking for a designer who brings creativity, technical skill, strong client communication, and a practical understanding of how great landscapes are actually built.
What You’ll Do- Meet with clients to understand their property, goals, style, budget, and vision.
- Create thoughtful, creative, and buildable landscape designs for residential and commercial projects.
- Develop detailed landscape plans, hardscape layouts, planting plans, and supporting design documents.
- Present design concepts to clients, explain recommendations, and refine plans based on feedback.
- Select appropriate plants, materials, and design elements based on aesthetics, site conditions, functionality, and long-term performance.
- Collaborate closely with ownership, sales, estimating, and operations to ensure designs can be accurately priced and successfully executed.
- Visit project sites as needed to evaluate conditions, confirm design intent, and support successful implementation.
- Manage multiple projects and client relationships while maintaining strong communication and attention to detail.
- Professional experience in landscape design, landscape architecture, or a closely related field.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating residential and/or commercial landscape design work.
- Knowledge of plant materials, hardscape construction, grading, drainage, and the practical considerations involved in bringing a landscape design to life.
- Proficiency with CAD or other professional landscape design software.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build trust with clients.
- The ability to listen to what a client wants, offer professional guidance, and translate ideas into creative, functional, and buildable designs.
- Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with the people responsible for estimating, selling, and building your designs.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys collaborating with clients and teammates, and wants to contribute to a company where quality, reputation, and the customer experience matter.
If you are a creative, technically capable Landscape Designer who wants ownership of your projects and the opportunity to see your ideas come to life, we would love to hear from you.
