Overview
Our client, an industry-leading design and manufacturing organization specializing in custom industrial mechanical and electrical modular buildings and high-performance HVAC systems, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting project development and execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title and CompensationJob Title: Structural Engineer
Pay Range: $120,000 - $150,000
The Job- Develop structural designs for industrial modular buildings, including steel structures, connections, and anchoring systems.
- Serve as the Engineer of Record (EOR), ensuring safety, compliance, and quality of all project deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver effective project solutions.
- Create and review project submittals, specifications, and proposals for client and regulatory approvals.
- Conduct factory inspections to verify compliance with designs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in steel design.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE);
Structural Engineer licensure is a plus. - Expertise in steel connection design and proficiency in tools like Excel, MathCAD, and structural analysis software such as RAM Elements and RAM Connections.
- Strong knowledge of US building codes and standards including IBC, ASCE, AISC, ASME, and API.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
