This is a full‑time, on‑site Financial Advisor role based in Fenton, MI. The Financial Advisor will work directly with clients to understand their financial goals, gather financial data, and develop comprehensive strategies in areas such as retirement, investments, protection, and overall financial planning. Daily responsibilities include meeting with prospective and existing clients, presenting tailored recommendations, implementing approved strategies, and reviewing plans regularly to keep them on track.
The role also involves building and maintaining a personal book of business, conducting market and product research, and collaborating with internal resources to ensure appropriate solutions. Advisors are expected to uphold high ethical standards, follow regulatory requirements, and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory, including assessing client needs and creating holistic plans.
- Solid understanding of Finance and Investments, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and align portfolios with client objectives and risk tolerance.
- Experience or interest in Retirement Planning, including strategies for accumulation, income distribution, and tax‑aware planning.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills to build trust‑based, long‑term client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant licenses (e.g., state life/health insurance license, FINRA registrations) or willingness and ability to obtain them within a specified timeframe.
- Proven ability to build a client base through networking, referrals, and community engagement, with strong self‑motivation and goal orientation.
- High ethical standards, professionalism, and a commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with industry regulations and products.
