Dementia Caregiver

Caregiver Position

SYNERGY Home Care is an independently owned and operated national company renowned for high-quality home care, and we are hiring a dedicated caregiver to provide high-quality, patient-centered senior care across weekdays and weekends, with a schedule of up to 30 hours per week. If you are dependable, caring, and passionate about supporting older adults, we'd love to meet you.

We're recruiting for various schedules on weekdays and weekends in the Fenton, Brighton, and South Lyon areas.

Duties

• Deliver person-centered dementia care that provides safety, dignity, and meaningful engagement
• Assist clients with housekeeping, meal preparation, and verbal medication reminders
• Aid clients in their personal care needs including showering, dressing, and toileting.

Skills

• CNA or HHA certification is preferred but NOT required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
• Proficiency in cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and information handling.
• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required (current CNA sandwich not required)
• Experience with children is preferred but not required.
