Dementia Caregiver

Overview
SYNERGY Home Care is an independently owned and operated national company renowned for high‑quality home care, and we are we’re hiring a dedicated caregiver to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered senior care across weekdays and weekends, with a schedule of up to 30 hours per week.

We're recruiting for various schedules on weekdays and weekends in the Fenton, Brighton and South Lyon areas.

Duties

• Deliver person-centered dementia care that provides safety, dignity and meaningful engagement

• Assist clients with housekeeping, meal preparation, and verbal medication reminders

• Aid clients in their personal care needs including showering, dressing, and toileting.

Skills

• CNA or HHA certification is preferred but NOT required.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.

• Proficiency in cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and information handling.

• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required (current CNA sandwich not required)

• Experience with children is preferred but not required.
