Supply Chain Analyst

Supply Chain Analyst needed in Fenton, Michigan.

• Assist global sites with their critical supply escalations.
• Escalate shortages within the supplier leadership team(s) to ensure that suppliers respond appropriately with respect to delivery.
• Update and distribute the global runout sheets by quantifying and manipulating data to ensure alignment with overall production and supplier requirements as needed.
• Provide flexibility to work outside of normal working hours to support other regions with escalation of supply issues.
• Support escalation requests for on-time sample builds and to meet program launch requirements.
• Participate in other purchasing/operations meetings.
• Provide part shortage status updates.
• Support analysis of new trends in market and technology.
• Maintain supplier relationships that are both productive and mutually beneficial.
• Serve as the primary purchasing interface to all global plants, encompassing all aspects of purchasing activities related to assigned program(s).
• Effectively manage supply chain material shortages at a global level, including updating and distributing global runouts.

• 5+ years of experience in Purchasing/Operations or a related field within an automotive manufacturing facility.
• Relevant experience within automotive electronics.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the MS Office package.
