CNC Machinist – Production Department

$17-19/hr based on experience

6:00am - 2:30pm, OT may be required depending on the daily needs of the shop!

• Setup & Operation:
  Independently perform 1–5 setups per day on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers or lathes.
• Program Optimization:
  Make necessary machine adjustments, at the machine control to adjust tool paths, speeds, and feeds.
• Precision Measurement:
  Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to perform first-piece and in-process inspections to tolerances of
• Tool Management:
  Monitor tool wear, perform tool changes, and adjust offsets to maintain part consistency throughout the production run.
• Documentation:
  Accurately complete production logs and quality check sheets.
• Other duties as assigned

• Experience:
  
  2–5+ years of experience in an active CNC machining role (setup and operation). Also knowledge of manual machining (Bridgeport mills or manual lathes) is a plus.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Proficiency with Okuma turning centers & control
• Blueprint Reading:
  Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and symbols.
• Mathematics:
  Practical application of shop math, including decimals and basic geometry.
