Center of Hope is a nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives by providing critical resources and support to those in crisis situations. Through services like food assistance, counseling, and life-skills training, we help rebuild lives with dignity.

The Resource Coordinator oversees, organizes, and manages all on-site physical resources at Center of Hope.

This role ensures that non-food goods, equipment, and materials used for daily operations, guest services, and special events are properly tracked, maintained, and readily available.

This position serves as the central point of accountability for physical assets beyond the Free Choice Market, including donated goods (excluding food), program supplies, event materials, storage areas, and operational equipment. The Resource Coordinator develops and maintains systems for inventory control, organization, and responsible stewardship of all resources entrusted to Center of Hope.

In addition to managing physical resources, this role compiles, maintains, and regularly updates a comprehensive directory of services and assistance available through other nonprofits, churches, agencies, and community organizations within our service area. The Resource Coordinator ensures that staff and volunteers have accurate, current referral information to effectively serve guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all non-food physical resources on-site
  • Develop and maintain organized inventory systems
  • Monitor supply levels and coordinate replenishment as needed
  • Ensure event materials and operational equipment are prepared and returned properly
  • Maintain orderly storage spaces and resource rooms
  • Track and steward donated non-food goods
  • Build and update a current directory of local service providers and assistance programs
  • Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure resources align with guest needs
  • Identify gaps in resources and recommend improvements
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and systems-thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven
  • Ability to manage multiple categories of materials and information
  • Clear communication skills
  • Heart for stewardship and community impact

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that Center of Hope operates efficiently, responsibly, and with excellence in serving both guests and the broader community.
