Quality Analyst – Manufacturing

Fenton, MI
Pay:
Up to $34.50/hour

Full-Time
- Support quality processes and requirements within a manufacturing environment
- Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, warranty claims, scrap, and rework
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Perform root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions
- Use quality and problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Six Sigma
- Maintain quality procedures, documentation, risk analysis, and lessons learned
- Review customer warranty claims and provide feedback to internal teams
- Support audits, product reviews, and quality improvement initiatives
- Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Suppliers, and other departments to resolve quality issues
- Support engineering changes and ensure quality requirements are met
- Participate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement activities
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and quality problem-solving techniques
- Assist with other Quality Department activities as needed
- 2–4 years of manufacturing experience; quality experience preferred
- Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to investigate problems and identify root causes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Minitab experience preferred
- Experience with 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, Six Sigma, or similar quality methodologies preferred
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 or automotive quality standards is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Up to $34.50/hour
