AUTOMOTIVE RENTAL CAR COORDINATOR

We are looking for a Rental Car Coordinator to assist customers with product rentals including identifying useful products available for rent and reserving, renting, or returning those items.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in sales or customer service preferred.

• Manage our daily rental fleet and reservations
• Consult with customers to understand their needs; recommend appropriate products.
• Answer inquiries regarding product options, availability, cost, and lengths of rentals.
• Handle contracts, billing, and insurance documentation
• Reserve items and maintain records of reservations.
• Complete or acquire forms and supplemental documentation such as licenses or proof of insurance.
• Explain rental policies to customers and obtain signatures indicating their understanding.
• Explain proper use and care of products to customers.
• Record customer orders; collect deposits, rental fees, and other payments at rental or return.
• Retrieve merchandise for customers, assist with loading equipment, and restock returned products.
• Inspect products on return to ensure items are clean, in good repair, and, when applicable, refilled or otherwise maintained according to rental agreement.
• Identify and tag products that need to be repaired, cleaned, or modified before being restocked.
• Work closely with our service and sales departments to keep everything running smoothly
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking around rental facility.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to wash and vacuum vehicles.
• Must be prepared to work outside in different weather conditions.
