Job DescriptionQualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited college or university
- Fully licensed Social Worker or MSW Limited License
- Holds one of the following certificates/permits:
Preliminary School Social Worker Certificate (PSSWC), Professional School Social Worker Certificate (PSWC), or School Social Worker Permit (SSWP) - Current LARA license required
- Relevant experience working with school-aged children preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite social work services supporting student well-being and success
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement intervention plans, and provide individual and group counseling
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to foster supportive strategies for students
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention within the school community
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to legal and ethical standards in social work practice
