Role Description

The Outside Sales Representative role is a full-time, on-site position based in Fenton, MO. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing a defined territory, and growing pump rental and related services among industrial and municipal customers. Day-to-day tasks include conducting in-person sales calls, delivering product and solution presentations, preparing proposals, and following up on leads from marketing and internal teams.

The representative will build and maintain long-term customer relationships, provide responsive support, coordinate with operations and service teams to meet project requirements, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Regular travel within the territory, accurate reporting of sales activities, and participation in team meetings and training sessions are expected.

Qualifications
  • Sales Presentations and Communication skills for effectively explaining technical solutions and delivering persuasive proposals.
  • Relationship Building and Customer Service skills to establish trust, maintain accounts, and resolve customer issues professionally.
  • New Business Development skills to prospect, qualify leads, and convert opportunities into sustainable revenue.
  • Ability to understand and learn technical aspects of pumps, dewatering systems, and process equipment.
  • Prior outside sales experience in industrial, construction, or related sectors preferred; experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Water, or Wastewater industries is a plus.
  • Strong organization, territory management, and time-management capabilities, with proficiency in CRM and basic office software.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally within the assigned territory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
