PRN Licensed Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated PRN Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team in Fergus Falls, MN. Our flexible staffing model allows you to choose your schedule, giving you the work-life balance you need while providing excellent patient care. As an integral part of our dental team, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health through direct patient care and education.

• Provide comprehensive oral hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assess and document patient conditions, collaborating with the dental team for optimal treatment plans
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as permitted by state regulations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Open Dental and other dental software
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Travel as needed to support community sites, which may include driving a company vehicle or personal transportation when necessary

• Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene
• Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist License
• 2-4 years of clinical experience preferred
• Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency preferred based on clinic location)
• Ability to work under a signed Collaborative Agreement following state and company regulations
• Proficiency or willingness to learn Open Dental software, Microsoft Office, and other necessary systems
• Valid driver’s license (based clinic location) and willingness to travel as needed
