Part-Time Food Service Position

The Fergus Falls School District is seeking to fill a part-time food service position at Kennedy Secondary School for 2026-27 school year. This position is scheduled 3 hours/day and up to 173 days/year (full school year). The starting wage range is $21.80 to $22.40/hour.

Job Summary:

To work with the computerized lunch program while serving the students nutritious and attractive meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate pleasantly with staff, students and public
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable

Performance Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for these positions vary. Tasks range from cleaning, organizing, dishwashing, laundry, and trash collection to assisting with food prep and serving.
