Role OverviewAs a Financial Specialist, you will provide a range of bookkeeping functions for Guardianship Options by coordinating with Guardian/Conservator in the management and reporting of the financial affairs of vulnerable clients.

- Maintain financial documentation according to policy and present to all internal and external auditors upon request.
- Document and bill service hours for each assigned client following LSS GO policy and procedures.
- Handle all finances associated with the client’s estate, including but not limited to payment of bills, reconciling accounts, handling deposits, etc.
- Two-year associate’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience in accounting, banking or customer service is required.
- Coordinating skills required to organize and maintain separate financial records for 30 to 60 individual clients.
- Computer literacy, spreadsheets, word processing and basic budgeting required.
- Strong communication skills; good listening and questioning abilities.
- Strong administrative skills to monitor financial data and adhere to financial policies and procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- DHS criminal background check required.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail regarding financial tasks.
- Good planning and organizational skills; able to determine priorities and manage time appropriately.
- Sound judgment and problem‑solving skills to analyze problems regarding best interests of clients.
