Otter Tail County is accepting applications for full-time and part-time female Corrections/Bailiff Officer positions.
This position has a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ) due to the need to provide same-gender supervision for inmates at times.; therefore, female applicants are being accepted at this time. We currently have an immediate need for full-time positions.The purpose of this position is to maintain order, safety, and security in a medium sized correctional facility within applicable rules, regulations, ordinances, and statutes.
Maintain legal inmate and officer records, perform intake and release of inmates, supervise inmates, and perform bailiff officer duties in court.
- Qualified applicants are required to take the REACT for Correction Officer's Exam. Date of the exam will be determined at a later date and communicated to qualified applicants. More information about the REACT for Correction Officer's Exam and an option for a practice exam is available at
