• 1. Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
• 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in labor and delivery, postpartum care, pediatrics, women's health, or a related field.
• 3. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required; certification in fetal monitoring preferred.
• 4. Strong clinical skills with the ability to react decisively in emergency situations.
• 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with, and provide support to patients and their families.
• 6. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team.
• 7. Knowledge of current best practices and evidence-based care in labor and delivery.
• 8. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

As a Permanent RN
- Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, compassionate healthcare team dedicated to the highest quality of patient care. • 1. Providing direct patient care to laboring women, which includes monitoring the fetal heart rate, timing contractions, and assisting with various delivery methods.
• 2. Administering medications, performing episiotomies, and assisting with cesarean sections as needed.
• 3. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, midwives, and other nurses, to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
• 4. Educating and supporting patients and their families during the labor and delivery process, as well as in the postpartum period.
• 5. Monitoring and assessing the health and wellbeing of both the mother and baby during the postpartum period, and providing necessary care and interventions.
• 6. Advocating for patients and their families, ensuring they understand and can participate in their care, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• 7. Documenting patient information accurately and completely in the electronic medical record
