Information Technology Coordinator

Lakes Country Service Cooperative is seeking a full-time Information Technology Coordinator to provide planning, configuration, and support of network infrastructure and systems for LCSC and their members. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of hardware platforms and operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS. • Manage member technology and network infrastructure including LANs and WAN, Windows and Linux virtual servers, Windows workstations, Apple workstations, Apple iPads, and Chromebooks.
• Analyze current network architecture and make recommendations for enhancements or redesigns.
• Coordinate network expansion, upgrades, and new site installations in collaboration with cooperative staff and district partners.
• Monitor and maintain network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and servers.
• Implement and maintain backup, failover, and disaster recovery systems.
• Administers the member's business information systems, such as a student information system, learning management system, etc., where applicable.

• An associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related field required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in network administration, network engineering, or infrastructure support.
• Considerable knowledge of various hardware platforms, as well as Microsoft Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS operating systems, preferably with some Linux administration as well.
• Highly experienced in Microsoft Office systems, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Google applications.

• Knowledge of Linux administration.
• Experience working in a school or public agency environment.
