Join our dynamic team as an RN
- Labor and Delivery Nurse and be a part of a fast-paced, high-energy environment that focuses on delivering exceptional care to mothers and newborns. We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled professional who is passionate about women's health and can provide the highest level of patient care. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing, with a strong emphasis on patient education, acute care, and pediatric nursing.

Responsibilities:

Providing patient-centered care, including postpartum care, newborn assessment, and family-centered care.

Monitoring and interpreting fetal monitoring data to ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and child.

Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals and ensuring seamless communication and transfer of information through electronic medical records and clinical documentation.

Educating and supporting patients and their families, advocating for their needs and rights.

Utilizing critical thinking skills to make sound clinical decisions in high-stress situations.

Providing care for infants in the nursery, including feeding, diapering, and monitoring vital signs.

Participating in continuous education and training to stay updated with the latest advancements in maternal health and pediatric nursing.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.

Current and valid RN license.

A minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in Labor and Delivery.

Extensive knowledge and experience in women's health, postpartum care, newborn assessment, patient education, pediatric nursing, and acute care.

Proficiency in using electronic medical records and clinical documentation.

Experience in care coordination and fetal monitoring.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.

Ability to provide family-centered care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
