Laundromat Attendant - Ferguson MO Laundry Basket

Position Summary

The Attendant assists customers with equipment operation, manages drop‑off laundry service, maintains cleanliness and safety of the laundromat, and serves as a back‑up for the Store Manager when needed.

• Assist customers with equipment operation and launders clothes for drop‑off laundry service.
• Follow policies and procedures for attendants.
• Maintain consistent cleaning standards for the store.
• Handle accurate cash drawer transactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts for OTC products.
• Fulfill all duties of Drop‑off Laundry Service and the Store Manager in their absence.
• Report, test, and properly tag out‑of‑order equipment.
• Take ownership of business results and personal wellness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

No prior experience required. No certifications required.

Employees must stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. They regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds or more. Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception are required. The work environment is usually loud, wet, and humid, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and extreme heat.

Required to pass background, physical, drug, and alcohol screenings. Authorization to work in the United States is required.
