Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Fernandina Beach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support while ensuring smooth daily office operations.
* Manage front desk operations including greeting visitors and answering phone calls
* Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email communications
* Maintain organized filing systems, both digital and physical
* Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy
* Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and calendar management
* Process basic financial transactions and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks
* Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
* Operate standard office equipment including printers, copiers, and scanners
* Support team members with administrative tasks and special projects
* Prepare and format various business documents and reports
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
* Outstanding customer service skills
* Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in work
* Experience with data entry and record keeping
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Basic bookkeeping knowledge
* Professional phone etiquette
* Strong filing and documentation management skills
* Team-oriented mindset with ability to work independently
* Experience with office equipment operation
