We are currently seeking a CDL A Yard Jockey Driver for local yard moves in Fernandina Beach, Florida. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $22 per hour, with overtime available after 40 hours.

The Yard Jockey Driver will be responsible for operating within the yard, moving trailers, and communicating effectively with warehouse staff. This is primarily a yard-based role, ideal for candidates comfortable with yard operations and trailer maneuvering.

• Pay Rate: $22/hour
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Schedule:
  • Wednesday: 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM (½ day)
  • Thursday – Saturday: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM

• Route Type:
  Local yard moves only
• Freight:
  No touch freight
• Equipment: 26' box truck
• Handling:
  Primarily yard-based work

• Operate as a yard jockey, moving trailers within the yard
• Move trailers outside the yard to nearby locations as needed
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff
• Follow dispatch and operational instructions closely

• Valid CDL A
• 18 months of verifiable experience operating commercial vehicles comparable to those used on this account within the past 36 months, OR
• 12 months of verifiable experience within the past 24 months
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
