Activate is seeking two Tour Managers / Tour Operators to support a national experiential tour. This role is responsible for transporting, installing, monitoring, and striking a mobile activation, as well as serving as the on‑site operational point person during event days.
This position is not a brand ambassador role. Tour Managers will not actively engage consumers once the activation is live. Instead, they will focus on operations, vehicle management, setup/teardown, and technical troubleshooting to ensure smooth daily execution.
Activation Overview- Touring to sporting events and large public gatherings
- On‑site demo and education around a mobile app, encouraging consumer subscriptions
- Activation includes technology components and a photo booth element
Transportation & Vehicle Operations
Safely operate tour vehicles:
- Truck pulling a trailer
- Box truck
Transport activation assets between tour stops
- Adhere to all applicable DOT and safety regulations
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Set up and tear down all activation elements at each stop
- Load and unload equipment and assets
- Ensure activation footprint is properly installed and secured
Serve as the on‑site operational lead during activations
Remain on standby while the activation is live to:
- Monitor the space
- Assist with troubleshooting technical or structural issues
- Address minor repairs or adjustments as needed
- Coordinate with Activate producers and venue contacts as required
- Assist with setup and basic troubleshooting of:
- Photo booth components
- Escalate technical issues to the appropriate team when needed
- (Tech‑savvy candidates strongly preferred)
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL not required, but strongly preferred
- Comfortable driving and maneuvering a truck with trailer and/or box truck
- Experience with live events, touring activations, production, or mobile marketing preferred
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working independently on the road
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and be physically active for extended periods
- Highly organized with clear communication skills
- Willingness to travel extensively for the duration of the tour
